About Us
National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal (NITPY), is an autonomous public engineering institute nestled in the scenes of Karaikal, a coastal enclave in the basin of river Kaveri in the Union Territory of Puducherry. It is one among the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India, and is declared as an institute of national importance by the Government of India, under NIT Act, 2007. The institute was established in 2010, starting its intake in the academic year 2010-11. NIT Puducherry is having a campus spread around 258 acres in the village Poovam and Thiruvettakudy of Karaikal. The institution is at a constant attempt of making endeavours to scale new heights by developing a synergy between studies, research, consulting/training activities, and placements. The institute is ranked at 136 under the category of “India Rankings 2022 - Engineering” of the 2022 NIRF rankings, released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established during the inception of the institute in the year 2010. It offers UG, PG and PhD programmes in the various fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The faculty members have been active in teaching and research activities. The research activity of the department includes both fundamental research and sponsored projects.
About IEI
The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is the largest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers, established in 1920 with its Headquarters located in Kolkata and incorporated under Royal Charter on 9th September, 1935 by the then His Majesty of King George V. The Royal Charter endowed the Institution with the responsibility to promote the general advancement of engineering amongst its members and persons attached to the Institution. IEI has been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and besides conducting its own research, provides Grant-in-Aid to UG/PG/ PhD students of Engineering Institutes & Universities. The Institution has been serving the engineering fraternity for over a Century with its national and international presence through 125 Centres spread all over India, 6 Overseas Chapters, 6 Fora and an Organ namely Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Hyderabad. The Institution encompasses 15 (fifteen) engineering disciplines with a Corporate membership of over 2 lakhs.
About IEI - PSC
The Institution of Engineers (India), Puducherry State Centre was established on 31st July 2010. It is functioning at No.63, NSC, Bose Salai, PWD Campus, Ground Floor, Circle I Office, Puducherry-605 001, which is a philanthropic Premises offered by Public Works Department of Puducherry. IEI-PSC has members with Fellowship (66 Nos.), Membership (234 Nos.) and Associate Membership (224 Nos.), Student chapter Members (492 Nos.). IEI-PSC Members are spread over in entire union territory of Puducherry Viz: Puducherry (462 Nos.) Karaikal (70 Nos.) Yanam (17 Nos.) Mahe (7 Nos.) and Tamil Nadu State (9 Nos.) with a total strength of 561 Members, as per HQ Communication. A mini library is being maintained in IEI office of PSC for the purpose of reference by IEI-PSC members.
Our Conference
The depletion of fossil fuels and ever-increasing demand of electricity in India necessitated the significance of sustainable energy sources. These are natural and abundantly available green energy and pollution-free resource. The conference “RISEE 2023” aims to exploit the use of sustainable resources in electrical energy systems which is the future technology. This conference aims to assemble various industrial persons, academic professionals, researchers, faculty, and students to explore the recent trends in energy technology on a common.

Call for Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original, unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference. Submissions must include title, abstract, author affiliation with email address and keywords as per the recommended template.
Regular Papers (6 pages in length) should present novel perspectives with in the general scope of the conference. Short papers (4 pages in length) are an opportunity to present preliminary or interim results. Submitted papers are limited to the maximum of 6 pages in length, and the typeset should be in standard IEEE conference format. Literature reviews/ survey papers will only be considered if they present a new perspective or benefit the field.
To be published, such papers must go beyond view of the literature to define the field in a new way or highlight exciting new technologies or areas of research. The recommended paper templates for RISEE-2023 can be downloaded using the links provided below.

The papers submitted to RISEE-2023 will be peer-reviewed by the competent reviewers.

The research papers submitted to RISEE-2023 will be peer-reviewed by competent reviewers.
(a) The research papers will be published in renowned international book publications without additional charges.
(or)
(b) The research papers will be forwarded for possible publication in the Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics Journal (Scopus-Indexed) as per the journal norms. The publication fee is 15€/page.
Note: The willingness of the author for any of the above publications will be obtained. However, the suitability of the publication will be decided by the editorial/review team.
Plagarism
All submitted papers will be subjected to a ”similarity test” by iThenticate Software. Papers achieving a minimal similarity index i.e., less than 30% will be examined, and those are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/ withdrawn. Authors are requested to kindly refrain from plagiarism in any form and submit their original and unpublished research work not under consideration for publication elsewhere. As per copyright transfer agreement, authors are deemed to be individually and collectively responsible for the content of manuscripts published by them.
Registration
Authors’ of the accepted papers are required to pay a registration fee. At least one of the authors listed in the accepted paper must register for the RISEE-2023 and present the paper.
